Six finalists have been selected by venue partners Aspex in Portsmouth, MK Gallery in Milton Keynes, Modern Art Oxford,  Phoenix Art Space in Brighton, Arts University Plymouth and Turner Contemporary in Margate from thirty-seven exhibiting artists selected from nineteen universities from the region and have been announced as:

• Zayd Menk (UCA Farnham), selected by Aspex in Portsmouth
• Lydia Freeman (University of Reading), selected by Modern Art Oxford
• Anna Candlin (University of Hertfordshire), selected by MK Gallery in Milton Keynes
• Tia Phillips  (Greater BrightonMetropolitan College), selected by Phoenix Art Space in Brighton
• Ashanti Hare (Arts University Plymouth), selected by Arts University Plymouth
• Constandina Herodotou (University of the Creative Arts, Canterburzy), selected by Turner Contemporary in Margate

All exhibiting artists involved in the Platform Award at the participating venues will join a growing alumni of Platform artists.
