For the last Cultural Equity Forum of this initial series, we’re excited to invite cultural activists to explore what makes an anti-racist gallery. At our first in-person CEF event, we’ll have a contribution from Paul Hobson, Director of Modern Art Oxford, who will speak about the development of the gallery’s anti-racism action plan and establishing the Oxford Cultural Ant-Racism Alliance (OCARA). Participants will also take part in an open discussion and anti-racist gallery manifesto creation activity led by the Cultural Equity Forum Facilitator Susuana Amoah aka The Black Gallerina.
VisualiSE is a programme for visual arts workers in the South East which aims to shape a more equitable and sustainable future. VisualiSE is funded by Arts Council England.
We have a limited number of bursaries to enable unsalaried art workers to attend. Please get in touch for more information.
