Explorers Seminar 2018

2nd Oct 2018

Project Art Works presents a day of discourse and action to explore care and curatorial practice.

Art, Rights, Representation: Reflecting the lived experience takes place on Friday 30 November, 10am – 4:30pm at De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill-on-Sea.

This will be an opportunity to discuss collaboration, non-verbal communication, institutional empathy and the practice of artists with complex needs. Contributors come from across the arts and social care sectors. The day will involve presentations, workshops and a drinks reception to close the event and launch the Explorers 2019 programme.

Working in partnership with leading cultural organisations, including CVAN South East network members MK Gallery, Fabrica, Photoworks and De La Warr Pavilion, Project Art Works present a three year programme of art and conversation called Explorers. The programme is informed and led by neurodiverse communities, placing them at the heart of social, civic and cultural activity.
