Hires Coordinator and Office Administrator vacancy at John Hansard Gallery

John Hansard Gallery – a leading public gallery of contemporary art that is part of the University of Southampton and an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation – is seeking to appoint an experienced Hires Coordinator and Office Administrator to contribute to the strategic development of the Gallery’s operations and income generation activity.

The successful applicant will work with the Gallery’s Head of Operations and Development Manager to develop and implement an outstanding hires and events offer that will generate income and support strategic and day-to-day stakeholder relationships. They will deliver superb customer service through the effective and efficient communications, planning, coordination and delivery of events and hires, including recording and analysing data, cost analysis and budget reporting. In addition, they will also provide comprehensive administrative support, ensuring the effective and efficient day to day running of the organisation. Under the guidance of Head of Operations, the successful applicant will review administrative and operational procedures and processes, evaluating effectiveness and implementing and overseeing agreed changes.
