2nd Jul 2019
Pallant House Gallery is recruiting for a new Learning Coordinator in the Public Programmes team, who will work alongside one other Learning Coordinator to deliver new, innovative programmes and push forward best practice through the development of the Gallery’s offer.
A new three year Public Programme Strategy for the Gallery has just been launched with the following aims:
1. Ensure everyone feels welcome at the Gallery
2. Show the benefits of leading a creative life and provide opportunities to do this
3. Increase number and diversity of visitors to better reflect local, regional and national populations
The Gallery is looking to appoint a candidate who has demonstrable experience of working with one or more of the following audiences: schools, families, young people, students, adults, community groups, online audiences. The Learning Coordinator would be expected to work across all of these audiences during their time at the Gallery, but have a particular focus and interest in programming for young people and Secondary School education. As well as those with museum learning experience, applicants with a background in the broader cultural sector in roles such as public programming, event management, youth engagement and community outreach are also welcome.
Deadline for applications: 12pm, Wednesday 24 July.
