Outside In seeks Tutors
27th Jun 2018
Outside In currently runs two courses: Workshop Leaders and Interpreting Collections as part of its Step Up professional training programme, that provides new skills for artists facing barriers to the art world.
Outside In is looking for freelance courses tutors to develop and deliver sessions, give help and support during sessions and provide advice and guidance during courses at venues across the country as and when required.
The Workshop Leaders course provides a structured programme of sessions that give participants the skills and experience to deliver a creative workshop. Sessions cover all aspects of leading a workshop, from how to set up a room, to what legislation you need to be aware of. The course includes a mixture of theory and practical activities and the course tutor will be at every session, providing advice and guidance.
The Interpreting Collections course focuses on individuals choosing an area of research from museum and gallery collections. Each session provides participants with training and support to develop skills in researching their chosen area/theme/artist, and also how to interpret what they have researched.
Deadline for both roles: 9am, Thursday 12 July.
