14th Aug 2018
Phoenix Brighton is partnering with Brighton Digital Festival in September, with a series of exhibitions and events that explore the intersection of digital technology with art.
They kick off with the festival launch party on Thursday 13 September, which will also double as a preview of two exhibitions: Uncommon Natures, which is a selection of work from the Lumen Prize curated by festival director Laurence Hill, and CAS50, an exhibition celebrating 50 years of the Computer Arts Society.
Throughout September, Phoenix is also hosting Forever, an immersive virtual reality artwork by Alex Peckham; JuNK – Immersive Technologies Research Project a series of VR installation works created by 8 learning disabled artists alongside a Q&A facilitated by Simon Wilkinson of CiRCA69, one of Europe’s most notable names to be working with VR; and Brighton’s Got Tech Talent.
