Submissions open for Outside In’s 2019 national exhibition
25th Jun 2019
Submissions can now be entered by Outside In artists for Outside In’s 2019 national open art exhibition Environments. The exhibition will feature artwork by up to 80 Outside In artists and be on display at Piano Nobile Gallery, Kings Place, London, from 28 October.
Outside In director and founder Marc Steene said:
The national open art exhibitions are a key part of Outside In’s work. ‘Environments’ will be the fifth Outside In has held – and our first as an independent, national, charity – making it feel even more like a celebration. Over the years, Outside In nationals have established a reputation for presenting pioneering, thought provoking and inspirational artwork and to be able to combine that with the prestigious Piano setting at Nobile Gallery, Kings Place, is sure to result in another ground-breaking exhibition.
Dr Robert Travers director of Piano Nobile added:
It has been a pleasure to welcome Outside In as the charity partner for the fifth edition of the Ruth Borchard Self Portrait Prize. Having seen so many wonderful self-portraits we are now really excited to see what the Environments theme will inspire.
Deadline for applications: 12 noon, Monday 19 August.
Take a look at the Outside In website for examples of art that could fit the theme and information on how to apply.
