The Platform Graduate Award 2019 Exhibitions

This autumn you can find the Platform Graduate Award exhibitions staged across four prominent art galleries and featuring some of the finest graduate talent working across a range of media.

Turner Contemporary in Margate will similarly be staging a series of solo exhibitions, with their first exhibition  commencing on 2 September, featuring work by Sian Hookins (University of Kent) that runs to 6 October. Jordan Colbert (University of Kent) follows with an exhibition from 8 October to 3 November. Installed from 5 November to 1 December will be work by Sara Jackson (University for the Creative Arts, UCA Canterbury). Finally an installation of work by Wren Moat (University for the Creative Arts, UCA Canterbury) will be exhibited from 3 December to 5 January.

Opening on 5 September at Modern Art Oxford is the solo show of Grace Robertson (Ruskin School of Art, University of Oxford) which runs until 15 September. Amy Richardson (University of Reading) has been selected for the second solo show that will be installed from 19 to 29 September. The third and final show will present work by Kulsuma Monica Khatoon (Oxford Brookes University) from 3 to 13 October.

From 4 October a group exhibition launches at Aspex in Portsmouth and runs until 29 December. The artists selected for this show are: Jade Anthony & Sofia Popova (Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton), Jaz Bartlett (University for the Creative Arts, UCA Farnham), Sasha Damjanovic (University of Portsmouth), Gwen Datyner (Southampton Solent University), Tobias Gumbrill (Arts University Bournemouth), Rebecca Harte (University of Chichester), Connie London (University of Chichester), Imogen Marooney (Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton), Mathew Scott (Southampton Solent University), Katherine Smith (University for the Creative Arts, UCA Farnham), Oliver Whitehead (University of Portsmouth), and Jack Woolston (Arts University Bournemouth).

And finally at MK Gallery in Milton Keynes there will be a group exhibition of work by Natalie Andrews (University of Bedfordshire), Lana Fotheringham (University of Hertfordshire) and Jan Harrington (University of Northampton). Experience the exhibition at MK Gallery between 7 and 30 November.

The winner of the Platform Graduate Award will be announced on 23 November.
