Announcing the nominees for the 2024 Platform Graduate Award
26th Jul 2024
We’re delighted to announce the return of the Platform Graduate Award!
Now reimagined in its twelfth year, showcasing a dynamic season of exhibitions that celebrate emerging artistic talent across the South. This year will feature four awardees, rather than a single winner.
Launched in 2012, the Platform Graduate Award is a unique initiative celebrating emerging artistic talent in the South East and South West regions. Designed to provide crucial support to graduate artists at a pivotal stage in their careers, the award offers opportunities for exhibitions and professional development. In recognition of the ongoing challenges faced by artists in establishing their artistic practice post-university, this year’s award will provide selected artists from each participating higher education partner with a £500 bursary and six months of mentoring support.
For the 2024 award we are proud to partner with four arts organisations and higher education institutions across the South: Aspex Portsmouth, Modern Art Oxford, Phoenix Art Space in Brighton, and a collaboration between Arts University Plymouth, University of Plymouth and Falmouth University.
CVAN South East and its partners are excited to announce the graduate artists selected for the first stage of the award. Their exceptional work will be showcased in exhibitions across the region.
