Aspire; a new short course for artists, curators and arts professionals

Artists and curators, are you looking to advance your careers?

Aspex Portsmouth has recently launched Aspire, a dynamic new 6 month professional development course designed for emerging artists, curators and arts professionals.

You’ll cover everything it takes to research, fund, market & produce an exhibition through a series of specialised classes and workshops delivered by industry professionals. The course will offer valuable hands-on experience to build your confidence and skill set, expand your professional network and further your career in contemporary visual arts.

Aspire will take place from October 2024 – March 2025 and costs £360 for the full course.

There are also 3 fully funded bursaries available to support individuals from underserved social and economic backgrounds. More information on how to apply can be found on the Aspex website. The deadline for applications is 9 September 2024
