Milton Keynes Arts Centre’s 2019 Plate Fundraiser

Jake and Dinos Chapman, Emma Cousin, Jeremy Deller, Heather and Ivan Morison, Peter Liversidge, Jesse Wine and Sarah Woodfine, are among 30 prominent and emerging contemporary artists donating unique artwork to Milton Keynes Arts Centre’s online charity auction, where each is responding to a ceramic plate.

Contributing artists include: Aisha Christison, Alice Browne, Amy Stephens, Anna Liber Lewis, Dave Farnham, David Batchelor, Eemyun Kang, Emma Cousin, Hannah Brown, Hannah Hewetson, Heather and Ivan Morison, Molly Barff, Jake and Dinos Chapman, Jeremy Deller, Jesse Wine (pictured), Jonathan Lux, Kate Terry, Kemi Onabulé, Kris Emmerson, Lauren Godfrey, Lindsey Mendick, Luke Burton, Markus Vater, Milly Peck, Paloma Proudfoot, Peter Jones, Peter Liversidge, Phil Root, Richard Slee and Sarah Woodfine.

Money raised from the auction will support the delivery of a project collaborating with a young offenders group based in Milton Keynes. The project will see young people get hands on in Milton Keynes Arts Centre’s specialist ceramic studio, making personalised ceramic ware. Nurturing vulnerable young people through creativity, Milton Keynes Arts Centre provides an opportunity to learn new skills in an inspiring, professional environment offering meaningful connections within the community. A positive and lasting impact, creating happier and healthier lives.

The 2019 Plate Fundraiser opens at 9am on 18 March, and closes at 9pm on 31 March.
